Keeping the citizens of Leslie safe is our top priority. Due to expected windchills of up to -50, Leslie city offices will be closed tomorrow, Wednesday, January 30th. Please stay inside if possible. The due date for water bills will be extended until Monday, February 4th. The drop box at the old city office building is still being used, feel free to place your payment there as it is checked regularly.

Gov. Gretchen Whitmer is declaring a statewide state of emergency ahead of bitterly cold weather coming to Michigan late Tuesday.
Forecasts show Mid-Michigan may not get above zero degrees on Wednesday and barely get above zero on Thursday. Morning lows on both days will be well below zero.
The National Weather Service issued a Wind Chill Warning for all of Mid-Michigan until 11 a.m. Thursday.
Granger Waste Services – Cancelling Operations
Due to extreme weather conditions and the importance of keeping associates safe, we are cancelling all operations on Wednesday, January 30. This includes our trash and recycling collection routes, disposal centers, landfill and recycling center. Our main office will remain open during normal business hours.
Due to cancelling service on Wednesday, we will be delaying service by one day for the rest of the week and will be running routes on Saturday. The landfill, recycling center and transfer stations will be open on Saturday.
We expect to be open and running on Thursday, although it is likely that we will experience delays. Please check our Facebook page and website for updates.
